Our Mission: Enable gigabit connectivity everywhere.
Altowav was founded in 2016 as Kwikbit to develop next generation millimeter wave technology to deliver high speed, easy to install, wireless networking to more people and places. In 2019, the company launched its first line of commercial 60 GHz products for both indoor and outdoor use cases.
From the start, the Altowav team was made up of experts with experience in both the vendor and operator side of wireless broadband. Our headquarters and engineering team are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while executive leadership is across the USA. As the team has grown, we continue to build a diverse and deep set of experiences allowing us to inform our product development and continue to create innovative technology, like our next generation of millimeter-wave radios and network automation.

K60 60GHz Outdoor Wireless Network Radio Unit
The K60 is a 60GHz radio with integrated 128-element beamforming antenna that provides best-in-class link resiliency and full capacity range. It supports Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP) and can be configured as either hub or remote for maximum flexibility.
The K60 is carrier-grade, manufactured in the USA and features IP67 weather-sealing for reliable operation outdoors and in harsh environments. It is ideal for both distribution and client applications where its second port can connect and power a collocated device.

- Security: AES 128 encryption with automatic secure key distribution
- Carrier-Grade: IP67 rated enclosure (requires Harting connectors) and built in USA for reliable, long-term operation in the field

- The D621 is a 60GHz radio with integrated 128-element beamforming antenna that provides best-in-class link resiliency and full capacity range in a very compact form factor. It supports PtMP and can be configured as either a distribution or client unit for maximum flexibility.
- The D621 is carrier-grade, manufactured in the USA and features IP67 weather-sealing for reliable operation outdoors and in harsh environment.
