Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing Winncom Technologies' market share by achieving sales objectives, developing new customer relationships, and maintaining and nurturing current customers in his or her specified geographic area and market segment. The ideal candidate will provide measurable sales objectives, will understand market competition, will quickly identify and prioritize new opportunities, and will understand, track and develop sales strategies based on market trends. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with management, other sales representatives, marketing, product management, and the customer to build profitability and loyalty with the client.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Make daily calls to current/prospective clients to build relationships and provide sales support.
- Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to stay on top of new technology.
- Assist clients in reducing costs and improving profitability by having a thorough grasp on Winncom and Winncom partner products and solutions.
- Maintain a thorough and expansive understanding of the telecommunications industry and trends.
- Take an active part in industry specific trade shows.
- Develop new business relationships.
- Respond to inquiries and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Clarify customers' understanding of products and services by explaining product and service features, answering questions, and offering relevant information.
- Continually monitor industry competition and regularly communicate findings to management through reports and other necessary written material.
- Maintain rapport with customers by making periodic contact, investigate new opportunities, and resolve problems.

Vendor Relations Manager - Security & Surveillance
Job Description
Winncom Technologies is seeking an experienced Vendor Relations Manager, preferably with 5 or more years of experience working in the IP security and surveillance and/or wireless networking industry. The Vendor Relations Manager will maintain close relationships with Winncom-contracted vendors, both current and new. The ideal candidate will understand and be able to evaluate new vendors and new product opportunities, and make critical decisions therein. He or she will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements to define the product strategy, while also working closely with engineering to deliver industry-leading solutions. The position includes working with sales and marketing to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Vendor Relations Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product lines and marketing efforts support Winncom Technologies’ overall strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an expert and perform product demos for customers
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Control a monthly revenue forecast
- Work with Marketing to propose an overall marketing budget to ensure success
- Brief and support the sales team at quarterly sales meetings
- Act as a leader within the company
Required Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Vendor Relations Manager, Product Manager, or Product Marketing Manager. Must have experience with channel sales structures and distributor sales models
- Proven experience in the security and surveillance industry
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Travel up to 20% of the time
- Demonstrated success defining and launching new products
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional teamwork abilities
- Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

Business Development Manager
Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Sales and Business Development, the Business Development Manager is responsible for strategic sales and targeted growth through the ongoing development of the sales pipeline. The BDM is expected to build Winncom market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new partner/customer relationships. The ideal candidate will provide territory management and sales tactic mentoring, and a high energy level that ultimately translates into new and incremental business. The BDM holds an instrumental role in the territory’s ability to meet measurable sales objectives. He or she must therefore quickly identify and prioritize new opportunities, and track and develop sales strategies based on market trends. The new BDM will work collaboratively with management, other sales representatives, marketing, and product management to build relationships and business loyalty with both current and prospective clients.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential new clients through various measurable avenues and sales tactics, including cold calling.
- Maintain a call log and submit weekly progress reports to senior management demonstrating account progress.
- Make daily calls and in-person visits to current/prospective clients to build relationships and to foster a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Pre-Sales Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and solve internal and external pre sales & post sales support cases.
- Effectively communicate with other organizations to resolve open cases and problems. Track all issues and escalate when necessary
- Create and maintain a knowledge database containing all reported problems and solutions.
- Create training materials to educate the field teams and customers if necessary.
- Assist field personnel with resolution of equipment issues.
- Reproduce customer issues to assist engineering with the resolution of problems.
- Maintain on-line forums for end-users.
- Stage systems for customers and perform demonstrations.
- Perform high level network design based on customer requirements.
- Assist customers over the phone, email, or at customer site helping resolve equipment issues.
- Work in team with sales representatives to finalize network equipment sales.
Qualifications:
- EDUCATION: BS/BSE in Electrical/Electronics/System Engineering, Computer Science or other applied technical discipline
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years' working experience in the networking and 802.11 industries in a pre-sales/post-sales/network design support position. Candidate must possess:
- A strong aptitude for investigation, analysis and problem solving
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- An in-depth knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data products at enterprise levels and equipment of varying complexity, microwave link calculation
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of the following:
- Wireless LAN/WAN and wired LAN/WAN technologies and test equipment
- Windows/Linux systems installation and debugging
Detailed Responsibilities
- Support sales staff and sales management to meet quota goals
- Respond to technical issues by coordinating and overseeing resolution of problems
- Provide Pre- and Post-Sales support by responding to RFPs and delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, training, and other sales support activities to generate, amplify, and successfully capture customer interest
- Prepare high quality, accurate, and timely responses to communications received from customers in the field
- Call on customers in order to answer questions, obtain forecasts, ensure customer satisfaction, and increase market share
- Obtain technical expertise for all products supported
- Develop engineering system plans and diagrams, and troubleshoot as necessary
- Work primarily in structured assignments under direction of sales management
- Prepare and deliver presentations to existing customers to provide technical training and to generate interest in new products
- Provide post-sales support including installed application installations and product introductions, product migration support, field training, documentation and upgrades, and distribution of technical materials and software
- Responsible for quality reporting and documentation on engineering methods and procedures, product customization, product functionality and feature development opportunities, and installed application utilization
- Sales ability, effective written/oral communication, ability to develop business relationships, strong presentation skills with strong PC literacy including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, drafting applications AutoCAD, or similar
- Familiarity with business metrics such as marginal return, ROI, P/L, etc.
