Proxim Tsunami QBII must use GPS synchronisation if more than one device located at the same place. Master radios must be on the same site.
Tsunami QuickBridge II radios operate using Time Division Duplexing (TDD), letting radios operate in a single RF channel shared between transmit and receive. If several QuickBridge II radio links must operate in close proximity (as would be the case if radios are co-located on a rooftop or on adjacent buildings), their transmitters must be time-synchronized to prevent interfering with receive signals of adjacent radios. GPS synchronization minimizes interference between co-located QuickBridge II radios and allows radios to synchronized even if they are not physically connected.
The Tsunami QuickBridge II 40 +2xT1/E1 Link provides unsurpassed ease of use for Enterprises and Service Providers needing a quick and effective point-to-point solution. Everything needed for the complete link is provided in a single box, including two weatherized radios with integrated directional antennas, cables, mounting hardware, and software. Operating in the unlicensed 5.8 GHz frequency band, Tsunami QuickBridge II provides quick time-to-market deployment with an audible antenna alignment system. For hubbing applications, Tsunami QuickBridge II can be co-located with several other QuickBridge II radios using an optional GPS synchronization antenna. Robust management is available through the use of standards-based management for integration into existing network management platforms. Proxim’s years of carrier-class experience set the bar for usability and functionality.
