Features:
- Shifts receive\transmit RF signals of 2.4 GHz WLAN radios from 2400-2500 MHz unlicensed frequency band into 5730-5830 MHz unlicensed frequency band
- Amplifies transmit and receive signals.
- Works with any IEEE 802.11b 2.4GHz Direct Sequence and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio products in Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint wireless networks.
- Allows wireless station to work with a great separation between indoor radio and outdoor antenna using inexpensive coaxial cable (up to 200ft. LMR400/RG8)
- Comprise Automatic Transmit Gain Control circuitry that provides:
- When mounted next to antenna, delivers maximum output power directly to antenna, regardless feed cable length.
- With any available model of WLAN radio maintains constant output power while keeping nonlinear distortions below permitted limit.
- High receiving gain provides high sensitivity of wireless station regardless feed line loss.
- Built-in ISM band frequency filter allowing co-location with different RF systems.
- Most efficient when mounted on a mast next to antenna.
- Weatherproofed
- Great temperature range (-50 to +50 degrees C)
- External lightning arrestor provides protection of converter\amplifier from surges inducted by close lightning strikes. (External lightning arrestor is optional)
- Powered over the single RF cable.
- Easy troubleshooting with “DC Power” and “RF Transmit” LED indicators on DC Injector.
