The VP400 Portable Surveillance System offers the most advanced remote video surveillance solution in the industry. The system utilizes up to three MegaPixel (HD) Fixed cameras and one Pan, Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) camera to offer unprecedented video quality and coverage. The three fixed cameras provide a 270 degree continuous field of view, while the PTZ camera automatically pans and zooms in on objects of interest.
I2C's Video Management Software (VMS) coupled with the Dynamic I/O Gateway allows the VP400 to take advantage of analytics embedded in the cameras as well as from external sensors (motion, door contacts, panic buttons, etc). The VP400 uses analytics as (1) filters for managing and quickly retrieving video archives; (2) as triggers to initiate alerts and alarms; and (3) to automatically control PTZ viewing angles and close-ups.
The VP400 supports a variety of connections including fiber, copper, and wireless (point to point, point to multipoint, and mesh). When these connection types are used, multiple units can stream the video back to a centralized I2C Video Server. When no connections are available, the VP400 can be ordered with its own on-board ruggedized video server for local recording and a cellular data modem for remote camera control, system access, and archive uploading. The cellular modem supports all national cellular carriers and includes Wi-Fi for local setup and access from a wide variety of handheld and mobile devices. AC power is all that is required to deploy the VP400 in minutes.
