2+0 Operation for GE/AR 80 GHz Wireless Links

BridgeWave's 2+0 upgrade kit offers carriers, service providers, and enterprise users the ability to upgrade existing GE80/X, AR80/X, AR80-AES/X links to 2 gigabit full-duplex data rates while using a single antenna. These upgrade kits connect two BridgeWave outdoor units (ODUs) to the antenna via an Orthogonal Mode Transducer (OMT), effectively doubling the capacity over the same transmission path. This solution is ideal for users who want to increase capacity to 2 Gbps, but do not want to install a separate antenna and/or incur additional roof or tower rental space in the process.
