It covers all relevant RF applications for which a surge protection is necessary e.g.:

- the protection of installations for analog and digital communication like such as 4 m radio,

VHF ground radio in aviation, 2 m radio, TETRA, GSM900/1800, UMTS

- the protection of communication lines in tunnels with overhead contact wires

- the protection applications in connection with radiating cables

- the protection of Bias-Ts for DC and frequencies up to 10 MHz (according to Antenna Interface Standards Group)
