by offering a single outdoor unit that provides power for both the camera and the CPE.
Quick and Easy Installation
An external power over Ethernet (PoE) camera feeding appliance, the VPS provides power to any standard 802.3af (Class 1 or 2) IP camera while connecting it to the outdoor CPE. The VPS connectors use easy-to-install glands to ensure maximum unit sealing while making installation simple and fast. A single AC power cable is connected to the VPS from which the power is distributed to both the CPE and the camera. Each VPS units comes with an AC input connector for easy onsite cable crimping, and a mounting band for pole mount installation which further simplifies installation. Alvarion's VPS also supports IP connectivity between the CPE and the camera.
