Program Levels
Mobile Wireless Broadband Solutions
Channel Partners who qualify for the Mobile Wireless Broadband Solutions Channel Partner level focus on selling, designing, integrating, implementing, and supporting solutions using Motorola’s full wireless broadband portfolio with emphasis on mobility solutions using mesh networking broadband technology. Examples of solutions supported at this level are city-wide deployments of mobile wireless broadband systems using fixed wireless broadband technologies for backhaul.
The requirements for joining the program at this level are:
Demonstrated expertise and experience selling data solutions to IT personnel in the Government or select vertical markets
Investment in training and certifying the following technical staff:
Two Motorola Certified Wireless Field Engineers
Two Motorola Certified Wireless Systems Engineers
One Motorola Certified Wireless System Architect
Two sales representatives trained on the Wireless Broadband portfolio
Successful completion of sales and technical training specific to the solutions that the Channel Partner will sell
Fixed Wireless Broadband Solutions
Channel Partners who qualify as a Fixed Wireless Broadband Solutions Channel Partner focus on selling, designing, implementing, and supporting fixed solutions: wi4 Fixed, including the popular Canopy® point-to-multipoint solutions and the industry-leading point-to- point solutions; wi4 Mesh, which includes access to the MOTOMESH Duo system and applicable accessories and services; the wi4 Indoor category including a wide array of Wireless LAN infrastructure and Broadband over Powerline systems for multi-unit buildings. This tier also has access to wireless broadband rugged devices.
The requirements for joining the program at this level are:
Demonstrated expertise and experience selling data solutions to IT personnel in the Government or select vertical markets
Investment in training and certifying the following technical staff:
One Motorola Certified Wireless Field Engineer
One Motorola Certified Wireless Systems Engineer
Two sales representatives trained on the portfolio
Successful completion of sales and technical training specific to the solutions that the Channel Partner will sell
Wireless Broadband Reseller
The Wireless Broadband Reseller level serves as the entry point to the program. Channel Partners in this level focus on selling, implementing, and supporting solutions using Motorola’s wireless broadband products including: wi4 Fixed point-to-point and point-to-multipoint and wi4 Indoor Wireless LAN and Broadband over Powerline solutions; rugged laptop computers, and may be authorized for in-car video recording solutions and other devices.
The requirements for joining the program at this level are:
Demonstrated expertise and experience in selling data solutions to IT personnel in the Government or select vertical markets
IT technical personnel capable of configuring software applications
Two sales representatives trained on the Reseller Wireless Broadband portfolio
Successful completion of sales and technical training specific to any authorized solutions that the Channel Partner will sell
