Winncom Technologies has become a major supplier for a wireless HotSpot project at one of the largest Universities in Kazakhstan.

Winncom has won a bid to put in a wireless hotspot at Gumilev University in Astana,in Kazakhstan. Working  directly with one of the local resellers ATK, Winncom has offered a complete Proxim solution and  ready to provide all  necessary technical support to ATK. Hot Spot will significantly improve inter-campus communications and allow teachers, students, and administration staff quick and easy access to the Internet practically from any campus location. Video conferencing units with high-resolution plasma displays will be installed in each class room. The expected completion date is in March 2004, Estimated project cost is $1.5 million US.
