A key component in Motorola’s Wireless Switching portfolio, the AP300 Access Port provides the point of connection between your mobile devices and the wireless switch (the WS5100, WS2000 or RFS7000). This thin, low cost, zero-configuration device is centrally managed from the wireless switch, and does not require manual maintenance. Support for standards-based Power-over-Ethernet eliminates the need for and expense of power cables. Wall, ceiling and above the ceiling mounting options provide complete installation flexibility. |
Product Highlights:
- Plug and play deployment in combination with Motorola switches
- Support for 802.11a/b/g
- Dual form factors –plastic or plenum rated
- 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet
- Load balancing and pre-emptive roaming
- Remote management via switch
Benefits:
- Simplified wireless network deployment and management
- Enterprise class security and management with a lower TCO
