Proxim 5th generation Lynx products extend its lead in carrier-class point-to-point radios. These products provide carriers, utilities and enterprises advanced flexibility for high-performance voice, video and data backhaul by enabling the choice between any frequency in the 2.4 GHz or 5.1-6.0 GHz unlicensed spectrum. This not only provides maximum flexibility when deployed in the field but also eliminates the challenge of managing an inventory of multiple products. With support for both T1/E1 interfaces as well as Ethernet, the Lynx.G5 future-proofs backhaul deployments by supporting both technologies simultaneously and providing a simple migration path to IP as the industry moves towards T1 or E1 replacement. The radio link is secured via RSA certified hardware-based AES encryption. |
