The EX-5i-16 wireless backhaul microwave radio from Exalt Communications is a new breed of all-indoor 5 GHz radio, specifically designed for demanding mobile backhaul applications requiring remote field-upgradeable capacity expansion. The EX-5i-16 is the only tri-band 5GHz digital microwave radio with software expandability from 4 to 16 T1/E1 plus 100BaseT. Operating in the 5.25-5.35 GHz, 5.4-5.725 GHz, and 5.725-5.850 GHz band, the EX-5i-16 is a carrier class system with minimal latency, high spectral efficiency, security, and unprecedented spectrum management flexibility.
