Operating in the 2400 to 2483.5 MHz ISM band, the EX-2.4i extends the advantages of this band for high capacity, long range wireless backhaul applications.
Along with 100Mbps of user throughput data capacity, the EX-2.4i provides up to four T1/E1 interfaces to enable PBX or trunk line interconnectivity and a seamless migration path from TDM to native IP-based services.
Exalt’s breakthrough spectrum-management technology provides up to eight non-overlapping frequency channels, with 1MHz fine tuning capability across the entire band. This results in as many as 62 center frequencies of operation without new hardware or system re-tuning. As an additional interference countermeasure, the EX-2.4i provides 8, 16, and 32 MHz channel bandwidths to help maximize band usability and throughput. And, to support TDM to IP service migration strategies, the EX-2.4i provides a smooth upgrade path to higher T1/E1 capacities and Ethernet services without replacing existing transmission systems. All this, while providing the lowest cost per megabit-mile in the market today!

** The figure listed is the actual aggregate user throughput, maximum, as measured at layer 2. T1 or E1 circuits may be enabled one at a time, as needed, and subtract 3.1 Mbps (1.544 Mbps full-duplex) or 4.1 Mbps (2.048 Mbps full-duplex), respectively, from the aggregate user throughput. Some combinations of frame size, link distance, T1/E1 enabling, bandwidth, mode and desired latency will result in reduced maximum aggregate throughput. See your Exalt Communications representative for details.
