Exalt provides a unique capacity expansion solution for existing 6GHz FCC Part 101 microwave links to instantly and cost-effectively deliver up to an additional 200Mbps of Ethernet capacity and up to 16xT1. This solution leverages the existing transmission infrastructure and antenna systems with minimal impact to the licensed system, and requires no additional FCC licenses.
Minimum Requirements: Existing licensed radio system operating between 5925 and 6875 MHz Exalt tri-band license exempt radio system: EX-5i or EX-5i-16 Exalt Capacity Expansion Module Add optional waveguide adapters for CPR-137, 2 per end Add standard RF interconnect cables as required The Exalt capacity expansion solution provides additional Ethernet and T1 connections, uses 1 to 1.5 rack spaces, does not require licensing, and can usually be installed in less than 1 hour per end. The unique tri-band design of the Exalt 5GHz radio provides maximum flexibility during installation and operation. The system gain impact to the existing licensed radio is less than 1dB. And the cost impact is minimal as compared to other alternatives.
