The 2.4GHz Bandpass Filtered parabolic grid directional antennas offered by Pacific Wireless utilize a Patented parabolic grid design with a Patented High Performance Dipole Feed with Patent Pending Bandpass Filter Technology. The bandpass filter effectively reduces out of band noise which can overload sensitive microwave receivers and cause degraded performance. The bandpass filter also helps minimize transmitted out of band noise due to poorly filtered transmitters. The feeds are ultrasonically welded and then 100% leak tested for a lifetime of troublefree performance even in the most demanding conditions.
The antenna is an aluminum die cast which is then powder coat painted for added environmental protection. Because of it's grid design the antenna offers excellent wind loading characteristics.
The antenna is constructed of 2 separate die cast aluminum pieces which are assembled together during installation. This saves significant $$ in shipping costs because the shipping size is much less than other types of 24dBi antenna systems.
The antenna comes complete with the die cast grid, dipole (feed) and heavy duty mounting bracket with stainless steel hardware for up to 2 inch diameter poles. The bracket gives up to 45 degrees of tilt angle. The antennas can be installed in Vertical or Horizontal Polarization.
